BUG: Internet Explorer... Again

When you visit a Web page or you interact with a Web application, you receive an Internet Explorer dialog box that contains the following error message:

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site <Web site>.com. Operation aborted.

Translated into dutch this error is something like "de bewerking is afgebroken."

This problem occurs because a child container HTML element contains script code that tries to modify the parent container element of the child container. The script code tries to modify the parent container element by using either the innerHTML method or the appendChild method.

This Internet Explorer thing irritates me more and more. After all the problems we had with earlier versions, now IE7 is still acting up.

Earlier we had our problems with compressed Javascript, where IE6 forgot that the Javascript was compressed. Gave nasty errors, like "DNS Error" etc. Makes you wonder how they programmed Internet Explorer....
